Contribution by the Data Technology department honored as “Best Student Paper.”

The contribution from the Data Technology (DT) department, entitled “Reinforcement Learning-Assisted Optimization of Power Plane and Placement of Decoupling Capacitors in Power Delivery Networks,” written by Nima Ghafarian Shoaee together with Baoyin Hua, Werner John, Ralf Brüning, and Jürgen Götze, was awarded “Best Student Paper” at the 2025 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, Signal & Power Integrity in Raleigh, North Carolina (USA). 
The paper was written as part of the KI4BoardNet research project and marks an important advance in the field of AI-assisted electronic design automation (EDA).
