exciting - innovative - promising
And what will we do tomorrow...? We are creating the future!
The German electrical industry generates around 14,000 patents every year and half of its turnover is based on the sale of new products. Engineers in electrical engineering and information technology are therefore important drivers of progress and growth - and always have an eye on the future. The dual designation of electrical engineering and information technology is more or less part of the program; volts, watts, hertz and bits and bytes belong together and influence each other. Wherever information is generated, coded, processed, stored or transported electronically - wherever energy is generated, transmitted, intelligently distributed or converted - electrical and information technology engineers are in great demand.

Today more than ever, our world is in a state of upheaval. It is not the first time we have heard that our society is facing new challenges. In fact, we have always been faced with new, seemingly unsolvable tasks. The technical solutions developed were often astounding, revolutionary and often ingenious. Inventions and technical developments that we take for granted today were initially only created in the minds of scientists and engineers. They were the creators of the first electric age. Whether steam engines, light bulbs or electrification, railroads, automobiles, telephones or automation, right up to the complete digitalization of the world.
