Bachelor and Master
In our Bachelor's degree programs at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at TU Dortmund University, the entire spectrum of electrical engineering and information technology is taught in a research-oriented form.
At the beginning of the six-semester Bachelor's degree course, students learn the technical basics, which are consolidated in exercises and applied in practical work experience.
Towards the end of the degree course, students deepen their knowledge of the basics and specialize in a particular field of study. Important practical experience is gained in the twelve-week industrial internship integrated into the course.
A successful Bachelor's degree in EIT or ICT should be directly followed by a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. The specialization in one of four possible majors meets the industrial requirement for specialization without losing sight of the broad overall qualification and enables entry into a career in science.
