Frederik Platt Presents the Results of His Work

In a presentation titled “Automated Analysis of 2D Materials Using Machine Learning-Based Clustering Algorithms,” Frederik Platt presented his findings on the automated analysis of 2D materials using confocal Raman microscopy and machine learning methods. Graphene was used as the model material.
Frederik Platt: “I am very grateful for the opportunity to present my work on such a large stage at this early stage. The valuable exchange with participants from over 60 countries has shown me how essential international networking is for our research. Many thanks to the department for placing this trust in me.”
The methodology presented is now being extended to other 2D materials. To this end, the UA Ruhr is funding an Incubator Program as part of the Research Center Future Energy Materials and Systems, in which, in addition to the Chair of Micro- and Nanoelectronics, other physics research groups from Dortmund and Bochum are participating.
