Since the winter semester 2011/2012, TU Dortmund University has been offering the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship as a funding opportunity for students. As part of this program, high-achieving and talented students are supported by private sponsors and companies.

At TU Dortmund University's annual scholarship ceremony, the donors have the opportunity to get to know the more than 200 sponsored students and exchange ideas.

The Deutschlandstipendien scholarships focus on outstanding academic achievements, while social commitment, willingness to take on responsibility or special social, family or personal circumstances are also taken into account when selecting scholarship holders. The duration of funding in the Deutschlandstipendien program is at least two semesters, during which students receive 300 euros per month - 150 euros from the federal government and 150 euros from private sponsors, foundations or companies.

From the winter semester 2025/2026, a total of 21 students from all degree programs in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology will be funded for one year. A big thank you goes to this year's sponsors of the Deutschlandstipendien:
