Tobias Kuhnke wins first place at the Student Poster Session

Representing Mr. Karsten Schloßer, Mr. Tobias Kuhnke took first place in the doctoral students' poster session.
The joint cooperation between the Chair of High Voltage Engineering with Karsten Schloßer, Tobias Kuhnke, Nico Alexander Blume, Frank Jenau, and with the support of Philipp Ralle and Andreas Steffen from the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, investigated various doped PMMA materials for their wavelength-dependent excitation, absorption, and emission in the UV to visible light range to measure the light emission of partial discharges.
The promising results are now part of future investigations with fluorescent plastic fibers.
