The career prospects
It is not only the current sustainable energy transition that is creating a steadily increasing demand for engineers to develop and drive forward the technology of tomorrow.
A large number of job advertisements and positive placement statistics in numerous other subject areas also demonstrate the excellent career prospects outside EIT in other innovation-driven sectors such as medical technology, aerospace, transport technology (air, ship, rail, road), chemical engineering, emergency services, automotive engineering and mechanical engineering.
Our students

Our study programs
We currently offer the following Bachelor's degree programs:
Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (EIT): Research-oriented engineering education with possible specializations in "Computer Engineering", "Nano and Quantum Technology", "Robotics and Automotive" or "Electrical Energy Supply".
Sustainable Energy Systems (NES): Sound energy engineering education combined with non-technical sustainability topics.
Both degree programs are admission-free and do not require any preparatory internships. An enrolment is expected to be possible from June 10.
If you have any questions about the courses on offer, please contact our student advisory service.
Both Bachelor's degree courses lead to a consecutive Master's degree course. The in-depth scientific training for graduates of the Bachelor's degree course in NES is continued with the international Master's degree course in Sustainable Energy Systems (SES). Graduates of the Bachelor's degree course in EIT can make full use of all conceivable differentiation options in the subsequent Master's degree course in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (EIT), regardless of any existing Bachelor's profile.
