The Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at TU Dortmund University represents a broad spectrum of important areas of technology in industrial society. These include, for example, information technology, robotics, micro- and nanoelectronics, modern energy systems, automotive electronics and communication networks.
The teaching and research areas of the Department thus form a network of disciplines that ensures a high level of qualification in education and a wide range of research.
