Electrical engineering and information technology
(from winter semester 2023/2024)

The Bachelor's degree course in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology deals with issues from a wide range of technical future topics. These range from energy conversion and transmission, smart energy grids, artificial intelligence, 6G communication, IoT, robotics, automated driving, vehicle electronics and the development and processing of microchips to quantum computing.
Starting with the fundamentals of mathematics and physics, students also gain a lot of practical experience and insights into the basic functioning of electrotechnical systems during the course of their studies.
From the fourth semester onwards, they can choose one of four specializations: Electrical Power Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics and Automotive or Nano and Quantum Technology.
